Vor Frelsers Kirke Copenhagen

Category: Church Copenhagen – admin – 5:32 pm

The tower is the most interesting sight of the church called “Vor Frelsers Kirke” in the district of Christianshavn. Around the top of the tower is a staircase of 150 steps. This funny detail was done in 1750.

The church was built between 1692 and 1696. Another sights of the church is the altar in red flaming marble, and the two-storey organ which is carried by two stucco elephants.
