The so called “Black Diamond” is an architectonic interesting building, and the home of Denmarks Royal library, on the shore of the Christians Brygge, and the city centre of Copenhagen, Christians Brygge 9.
Even the national museum of photography is part of the “black diamond”.

Sorte Diamant was finished in 1999, and impresses with asymmetric windows and a height of 24 metres.
The black colour of the exterior facade comes from the granite, which was imported from the African country of Zimbabwe.
