Nyhavn Copenhagen

Category: Sights Copenhagen – admin – 9:14 am

The canal which should connect the port with the city centre was made between 1671 and 1673.

Nyhavn means “new port” in English language. It’s one of Copenhagens most important sights, and located in the district of Fredriksstaden.

The place is known for its pubs and restaurants, which are very popular and usually filled to capacity. Nyhavn offers a wonderful view on the boats in the port, and the colourful facades of its houses.
