Denmarks national museum in Copenhagen exists since 1807. The visitor is able to find Denmarks cultural artifacts, and a historical journey to the Danish history.

Coins and medals from the vikings, as well from the ancient world, can be seen in the Royal cabinet of the museum.

Many different exhibits from different cultures are located in the ethnological part. Especially African, Asian, and cultural artifacts from Greenland are overrepresented there.
