Karen Blixen Museet Copenhagen

Category: Copenhagen Museum – admin – 8:06 am

Karen Blixen Museet is the location of “Corona”, Karens type writer, which was the most important tool to write her books.

Visitors can also see the gramophone of the successful author, which was a gift during her time in Africa from 1914 to 1931. Her life in Africa was picturized in the famous movie “Out of Africa”. The museum is an interesting completion to the movie and her life in Africa.

Karen Blixen lived from 1885 to 1962.
