Christianshavn was founded by Dutchmen during the 17th century, and looks a bit different than the rest of Copenhagen indeed. The district is a popular destination for tourists. Especially the church called “Vor Frelsers Kirke” shifts its visitors to ecstasy. Some people think that Vor Frelsers Kirke has a typically Dutch character.
