Arken Museum of Modern Art Copenhagen

Category: Copenhagen Museum – admin – 7:57 am

The huge concrete building is located in the south of Copenhagen, and looks like a hulk in the dunes. The museum exists since 1996, and delights the visitors with a unique architecture.

Inside the museum is an “art axis” with a lenght of 150 metres, which leads to different exhibition rooms and galleries.

Arken Museum of Modern Art shows only modern and contemporaneous works of Danish and other Scandinavian artists.

There is also a nice coffee houses included in the building, which offers a wonderful view on the sea and the dunes.
